Sara is an award-winning freelance front-end UI/UX developer from Lebanon. She runs workshops and helps companies and agencies build clean front-end (HTML5, SVG, CSS, JS) foundations for Web sites & applications, with strong focus on progressive enhancement, performance and accessibility.

Elika J. Etemad

fantasai is a senior spec-writer in the CSS Working Group and a former Mozilla layout engine QA & dev contributor. Since joining W3C as an Invited Expert in 2004, she’s worked on a long list of specs including CSS2.1, Backgrounds and Borders, Selectors, Flexbox, Writing Modes, Paged Media, Image Values, and others.

Mandy Michael

Mandy is a community organiser, speaker, and developer working as the Front End Development Manager at Seven West Media in Western Australia. She is a co-organiser and Director of Mixin Conf, and the founder and co-organiser of Fenders, a meetup for front-end developers in Perth.

Florian Rivoal

Florian Rivoal

Florian is an independent web standards consultant operating from Kyoto, Japan. He is most active in the CSS Working Group which he first joined in 2011 and where he maintains a few specifications, and was recently elected to the W3C's Advisory Board. He used to work on the Opera Software and Vivliostyle, and often hangs out with the Japanese publishing industry.

David DeSandro

David DeSandro

Dave DeSandro is the author of open-source plugins like Masonry, Isotope, and Flickity. His plugins have been in use for a decade, acquiring vast usage and interoperability. He runs his one-man business, Metafizzy, in Washington DC where he supports the plugins.

Natalya Shelburne

Natalya Shelburne

Natalya is a developer, designer, educator, speaker, and occasional sketch note artist. She is a front end developer at The New York Times and an instructor at Harvard Extension School. Previously, she worked as an Art Director in the non-profit world.

Dan Cederholm

Dan Cederholm

Dan is the co-founder of Dribbble, founder of SimpleBits, and is gearing up to launch Advencher Supply Co. He previously worked with YouTube, Microsoft, Google, MTV, ESPN, Electronic Arts, Blogger, Fast Company, and more. Dan has written five books on the craft of creating websites.

Aga Naplocha

Aga Naplocha

Aga is a coding designer with a strong focus on UX-related issues, currently working at Adobe in Warsaw, Poland. She’s the co-founder of The Awwwesomes – a non-profit organization teaching how to create awwwesome things on the Web, organizing coding (HTML&CSS) workshops in Poland.
